
Alexiana Fry is a guest researcher at the University of Copenhagen in Denmark, with a PhD in Hebrew Bible/Old Testament from Stellenbosch University in South Africa. Her specialties are at the intersection of disciplines: feminism, migration/diaspora, and trauma.
Born and raised in the United States Midwest, she also is a registered yoga teacher (200) with additional training on trauma-informed somatics for yoga from Collective Resilience. She also received additional training for public scholarship with Sacred Writes, as well as on Forced Migrations from the Refugee Studies Centre at Oxford University.
